Refund Policy – Sam’s School of Motoring
At Sam’s Driving School, we are committed to providing high-quality driving lessons and ensuring that every student receives the best possible learning experience. We understand that sometimes plans may change, and this Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds.
1. Lesson Bookings & Cancellations

All lesson bookings must be paid in advance to secure your slot.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full, and no refund will be issued.
2. Block Bookings

For block bookings (e.g., 5, 10, or 20 lessons), lessons must be taken within 6 months of purchase.

Unused lessons after this period will expire and are non-refundable.

Refunds for block bookings will be calculated based on the lessons already taken at the standard single-lesson rate, not the discounted block rate.
3. Instructor Cancellations

If your instructor cancels a lesson due to illness, vehicle issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative lesson date.

If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund for the affected lesson.
4. Driving Test Bookings

Driving test fees paid to the DVSA are non-refundable.

If a lesson or test session is booked with your instructor, standard cancellation rules apply.
5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:

Lessons missed due to lateness by the student.

Failure to attend without notice (“no-show”).

Expired lesson packages.
